We are very pleased to invite you to the 1st Sleep Science Winter School (SSWS), March 1-4 2018, the former BENESCO Winter Research Meeting that was initiated in 2013. From a joint effort of the University of Bern and the Università della Svizzera Italiana, the Academy of Sleep and Consciousness (ASC) was founded. This academy’s goal is to provide a high-class postgraduate educational program in sleep and consciousness. The Sleep Science Winter School is a module of its educational program with a strong focus on clinical and basic research. Its clinical educational complement is the Sleep Medical Summer School (SMSS), the former Alpine Sleep Summer School (ASSS) organized every second year since 2011, that will take place in summer 2019 in Lugano. All educational modules of ASC will be supported by BENESCO, the European Sleep Foundation (ESF) and the newly established Interfaculty Research Cooperation (IRC) “Decoding Sleep” at the University of Bern.

The next summer school will take place in July 2019 and will be soon announced here.

YOUNG SCIENTISTS SESSION – CALL FOR POSTERS
All young sicentists are welcome to present their work at the meeting. The poster session takes place at the 1st of March in the evening.
Please submit your poster electronically until February 12, 2018, by e-mail to Simone Duss.
